Patrice Cormier of the Rimouski Oceanic has been named captain of the Team Canada Juniors squad. Cormier from the small town of Cap Pele becomes the first New Brunswick native to wear the “C” for the Team Canada Junior squad. To me this is a perfect choice as Cormier plays very hard and will do anything asked of him. In last year’s tournament, Cormier played an important role in shutting down the oppositions best players. This year I expect the Team Canada coaches to use him in an offensive role as well.
