Cam Ward out for 1 month
Last year at this time, I thought that Cam Ward was going to be Canada’s 3rd goaltender at the Olympics. I thought that he would be the perfect choice as he is still very young and can gain valuable experience participating in Team Canada activities. After the play-off performance put together by Marc-Andre Fleury and with this ugly injury I think it is a safe bet that Ward will not be with Team Canada for the Olympics. Ward who was having a so-so season on a struggling team will hopefully play for Canada in the next World Championships.

Bummer…Cam Ward would be a great asset to the olympic team. I really hope his injury is not too serious!
