The Team Canada Mens Rosterwas announced today with a few surprises. Among those not making the team are Shane Doan, Vincent Lecavalier, Martin St. Louis, Dion Phaneuf, and Jay Bouwmeester.
The following players will be looking to bring home the gold medal in 6 short weeks!

Team Canada Juniors cut four players
The dreams of playing for the Team Canada Hockey team for the 2009/2010 World Junior Championship were dashed for 4 young players today. Brent Gormley (Moncton Wildcats), Nicolas Deslauriers (Rouyn-Noranda), John McFarland (Sudbury Wolves), and Tyler Seguin (Plymouth Whalers) were all sent back to their respective Junior teams Tuesday morning.

Canada Juniors Roster: A look at the Goalies
Jake Allen, a 2nd round draft pick of the St. Louis Blues currently plays in the QMJHL for the Montreal Junior. Allen’s biggest asset is his excellent positional play, and his ability to control rebounds. He also has International experience with Team Canada, playing for the U18 team in 2007.
